As Believers, we are reminded that despite our best efforts we all fall short of pleasing the Lord because sin is part of our spiritual DNA. Jesus, Our Redeemer and Advocate, intercedes on our behalf, grants us grace, mercy and forgiveness when we fall short on living up to His expectations of our faith walk. The Lord prepares us for eternal life through His example and teachings. We no longer fear death and the final divine accounting for our sinful deeds. We rest assured in our faith experience that we serve a forgiving and loving Lord who examines our hearts. Our hope rests on his promise to prepare a place for us, neither leave us nor forsake us.
