GOD'S PEOPLE KNOWN BY THEIR INTEGRITY

"GOD'S PEOPLE KNOWN BY THEIR INTEGRITY," Job 1: 1--1; 2: 1-10

There are Believers who proclaim their love and commitment to the Lord when times are good and others who continue to display consistent faithfulness even when suffering through life's challenges. The Believer's integrity is demonstrated in the life of Job who kept the faith even when losing, family, wealth and health. Lessons from Job life provide us four conscience questions to answer in assessing our spiritual integrity: 1. In my private life am I the steadfast Believer that I profess to others? Am I fully committed to living my calling as a Believer? 2. In my personal life and interactions with others am I consistent in treating others as the Lord has treated me? 3. In my professional life, am I known as an uncompromising, unashamed Believer or do I make compromises to fit in or advance my career? 4. In my public life does my behavior truly represent the Lord's teaching? Would an observer conclude by my actions and persona that I am a Believer? Our integrity should be unchanging regardless of circumstances.
